Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential events and media organization seeking a Director of Talent Development to join their London headquarters. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Building comprehensive learning and development programs for team members across all experience levels
• Developing and implementing strategic plans for talent development, including identifying training needs and creating programs to address them
• Creating development initiatives that empower the team to consistently deliver exceptional experiences across all business areas
• Designing programs that align employee growth with ambitious company objectives
• Identifying and driving synergies across business functions to maximize organizational effectiveness
• Thinking strategically about how talent development can accelerate business growth

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking an experienced business manager with a passion for people development. The ideal candidate will bring:

• Proven experience in talent development, learning and development, or business management roles
• A relentless drive to excel and inspire others to reach their full potential
• Exceptional work ethic with a high sense of urgency and follow-through
• Strong ownership mindset with proactive problem-solving abilities
• Genuine curiosity about people and talent for building and nurturing professional relationships
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent organizational abilities with strong prioritization and structuring skills
• UK work authorization (required)

This is an in-office position based in central London (Victoria Station area) with no remote work options. The role offers international travel opportunities and the potential for significant career progression within a fast-growing organization.
