Our client, a confidential elite sports organization, is seeking an inspirational Director of Performance to lead their world-class programme. Responsibilities

• Design, measure and evolve the cultural environment as a critical component of the performance system
• Lead and develop a modern high-performance culture prioritizing people, wellbeing and long-term success
• Serve as steward of organizational culture, influencing athlete development, coach effectiveness and innovation
• Oversee coaching, sport science, medicine, technology and international competition strategies
• Manage significant programme budgets and resources effectively
• Provide strategic planning, leadership and organizational direction
• Build and maintain relationships with multiple partners, stakeholders and volunteers
• Drive performance standards and make courageous decisions in high-pressure environments
• Navigate senior-level governance and broader business considerations

What We're Looking For

• Proven ability to build and lead modern high-performance cultures in elite sport
• Experience leading at the highest level of elite sport, with strong Olympic/Paralympic expertise
• Deep understanding of coaching systems, sport science, medicine, technology and talent pathways
• Demonstrable experience managing substantial budgets
• Strategic thinker with exceptional planning, leadership and organizational capabilities
• Results-oriented leader with courage to raise standards and make difficult decisions
• Proven stakeholder management across multiple partners and volunteer networks
• Strong grasp of business drivers and senior governance structures
• Resilience, stamina and flexibility to thrive under pressure
• Outstanding communication skills across written, verbal and presentation formats
