Associate Director/Teamlead Digital Media (Mensch)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media agency in Hamburg seeking an Associate Director/Team Lead Digital Media to lead a team of digital media planners and develop innovative campaigns for high-profile clients. In this role, you will balance strategic accountability with hands-on team leadership.

• Media Planning: Translate overarching strategies into targeted media measures and ensure quality assurance of media plans across all digital channels including display, video, mobile, social, and search
• Team Leadership: Provide both professional and organizational leadership while fostering the development and growth of your team members
• Project Management: Own the coordination of complex digital projects in close collaboration with client teams, creative agencies, media partners, and internal specialist departments
• Market Intelligence: Conduct continuous market monitoring to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation
• Stakeholder Communication: Take ownership of reporting, analysis, and presentations for internal stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Professional Experience: Several years of experience in digital media planning, consulting, or campaign management, ideally with initial leadership experience
• Education: Completed degree in business, communications, or media studies, or comparable training in the media or advertising industry
• Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of common planning tools and digital channels
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills combined with a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
• Communication: Excellent client orientation, assertiveness, and confident presentation skills
• Languages: Fluent in both German and English at business level
