Oracle is seeking a Director of Operations, Critical Infrastructure to lead mission-critical infrastructure across our data center facilities. This full-time position is based in Five Points, Wake County, and oversees the operational integrity of electrical, mechanical, and building systems supporting OCI infrastructure in the Shackelford County, Texas region.
About the Role
As Director of Operations, Critical Infrastructure at Oracle, you manage the continuous performance of essential infrastructure systems at our data center campuses. You drive operational discipline, maintain system reliability, and lead teams through the technical demands of 24/7 critical facility operations.
What You'll Do
- Direct the safe, continuous operation of electrical, mechanical, and building infrastructure systems across data center facilities
- Establish and execute maintenance programs that maximize uptime and system reliability
- Identify operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure business continuity
- Lead, mentor, and develop operations teams while fostering accountability and safety culture
- Monitor performance against operational metrics and implement efficiency improvements
- Manage relationships with equipment vendors and coordinate technical support resources
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and Oracle operational policies
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience directing critical infrastructure or data center operations
- Demonstrated expertise in electrical systems, mechanical systems, and HVAC in large facilities
- Proven leadership managing operations teams and building high-performing organizations
- Solid foundation in preventive maintenance, asset management, and risk analysis
- Familiarity with building management systems, monitoring tools, and operational dashboards
- Ability to analyze complex problems and make sound decisions under pressure
