About the Role

This full‑time Executive Chef role is based at the First Financial Center within the Levy sector of Compass Group, North America. You will lead culinary operations for a high‑volume sports and entertainment venue, ensuring exceptional food quality and service while supporting the company’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute innovative menus that align with event themes, client preferences, and seasonal availability.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and timely service for large‑scale events.
• Manage and mentor a diverse team of cooks, sous chefs, and kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment.
• Control food and labor costs through effective inventory management, portion control, and vendor negotiations.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and local health regulations.
• Collaborate with event managers, sales, and front‑of‑house teams to coordinate seamless guest experiences.
• Analyze performance metrics and guest feedback to continuously improve culinary offerings and operational efficiency.
• Participate in hiring, training, and scheduling activities to maintain optimal staffing levels.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or senior kitchen leader in high‑volume hospitality, sports, entertainment, or catering environments.
• Strong culinary expertise with a passion for creating memorable dishes across diverse cuisines.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop large culinary teams.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross‑departmental collaboration.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and quality.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as dictated by event schedules.
• Culinary degree, apprenticeship, or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
