About the Role

As part of the marketing team for Gourmet Dining at 229 Main Street, Keene, NH, you will help translate dining concepts into eye‑catching graphics that appear on menus, signage, digital displays, and promotional outreach. The role begins in August, offers a rate of $20.00 per hour, and hours are arranged around your class schedule and the dining operation’s needs.

What You'll Do

• Create illustrations, layouts, and photo edits for weekly menus, event flyers, and catering brochures.
• Design social‑media graphics and email newsletters that promote specials and sustainability initiatives.
• Update and maintain brand assets in the company’s digital library to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate with chefs and dining staff to capture food photography and translate culinary stories into visual content.
• Assist with the production of printed materials, coordinating with vendors on proofing and color accuracy.
• Participate in weekly marketing meetings to report progress and gather feedback.

What We're Looking For

• Current enrollment in a graphic design, visual communications, marketing, or related program at a college or university.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with Canva or similar tools is a plus.
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and how visual design supports promotional goals.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting ideas to teammates.
• A portfolio or class projects that demonstrate your design aesthetic and technical ability.
