Position Summary
This is a full-time barista role at HSBC's executive dining location in Midtown Manhattan. You'll craft specialty espresso beverages, engage with guests, and maintain a polished café environment in a professional business setting. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with hours that may vary based on operational needs, and a fixed hourly rate of $23.00. No prior barista or coffee experience is necessary—we'll provide training and support from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, hot and cold beverages, and specialty coffee creations
- Welcome guests, take orders accurately, and handle transactions with attention to detail
- Operate and maintain espresso machines and café equipment to ensure consistent quality
- Keep the café workspace clean, organized, and stocked throughout your shift
- Collaborate with team members to deliver smooth, efficient service during busy periods
- Follow food safety and service standards consistently
