MSD is seeking a Director of Global Oncology Market Access to lead strategic initiatives for Sac-TMT and Women's Cancers in our Rahway, New Jersey office. As part of our clinical development team, you'll shape global access strategy and drive execution for defined oncology indications, ensuring our medicines reach patients worldwide.
About the Role
This full-time director position sits at the intersection of clinical development, market strategy, and global patient access. You'll own the development and implementation of comprehensive market access plans for SAC-TMT (solid and hematologic tumor and targeted therapy) and women's cancer programs, working across multiple markets and therapeutic areas. Your leadership will be critical in navigating regulatory, reimbursement, and health systems challenges as our portfolio advances through clinical development and market entry.
What You'll Do
- Lead global market access strategy development for defined Sac-TMT and Women's Cancers indications
- Execute comprehensive access plans across geographies and payers
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders including regulators, health systems, and patient organizations
- Assess reimbursement and pricing landscapes across priority markets
- Collaborate with clinical development, commercial, and medical affairs teams to align access strategies with development timelines
- Drive evidence generation and health economics initiatives to support market entry
What We're Looking For
- Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, or equivalent) in a relevant field
- Proven leadership experience in global oncology market access or related market strategy roles
- Strong understanding of regulatory, reimbursement, and health systems dynamics in major oncology markets
- Strategic mindset with excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments in pharmaceutical development
