About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is building a vertical-focused go-to-market strategy. Our client is seeking a Director of Marketing to own the Care Homes and Clinics verticals, building market presence and creating a repeatable pipeline engine in these specialized sectors.

This is a senior marketing leadership role based in London, requiring someone who can combine deep customer understanding, strategic positioning, and hands-on execution to turn market opportunity into commercial results.

Responsibilities

• Own market understanding, positioning, and marketing pipeline development for Care Homes and Clinics segments
• Conduct customer and partner interviews to uncover buying triggers, workflows, and unmet needs across multi-site operators
• Develop clear positioning, competitive arguments, and credible industry points of view based on customer insight
• Build and manage the marketing pipeline model, setting campaign priorities and leading execution with demand generation and field marketing teams
• Own weekly reporting on qualified opportunities, conversion metrics, and pipeline performance with actionable recommendations
• Train sales representatives and SDRs on sector nuances including buyer personas, language, workflows, and objection handling
• Participate in key customer conversations and equip teams with insights and proof points to advance deals
• Build sector credibility through speaking engagements, webinars, industry discussions, and relationships with press, analysts, and influencers
• Partner with product marketing to define critical workflows, integrations, and product requirements for these verticals
• Develop customer references and case studies while using win/loss analysis to refine targeting, messaging, and campaigns
• Leverage AI tools for research, campaign execution, and analytical reporting to drive decision-making

What We're Looking For

• Approximately ten years of marketing experience with strong foundations in industry or product marketing
• Proven track record of building markets and delivering measurable commercial results
• Demonstrated experience owning marketing pipeline from planning through execution and reporting
• Ability to build and analyze funnel performance models and translate findings into strategic changes
• Established public speaking capability and experience telling compelling industry stories to various audiences
• Experience working with specialist partners and building trusted relationships within Care Homes, Clinics, or closely related healthcare sectors
• Strong track record of partnering with sales teams, including training direct representatives on segment-specific selling
• Experience translating customer needs into product requirements and distinguishing recurring market needs from one-off requests
• Analytical curiosity with practical experience using AI to investigate performance and improve decisions
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the judgment to challenge assumptions
• Willingness to execute hands-on work including customer interviews, message development, campaign building, and results analysis
• Sector understanding sufficient to earn credibility quickly, combined with ongoing learning curiosity
