Direct Support Professional Residential- Supportives

Wildwood Programs is hiring a Full-Time Direct Support Professional Residential - Supportives in Upper Union, Schenectady County. We're seeking compassionate, reliable professionals to provide direct care and support to individuals in our residential program.

About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional Residential - Supportives, you'll be at the heart of our mission, working directly with individuals in our residential supportive care setting. You'll provide hands-on assistance, build meaningful relationships, and support the people we serve in achieving their personal goals and maintaining their independence. This is a full-time position offering $18.75–$24.30 per hour, based on your verifiable direct care experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide direct care and personal support in a residential setting
• Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and personal hygiene as needed
• Support individuals with medication reminders and wellness routines
• Facilitate community engagement and recreational activities
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members
• Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive living environment
• Respond to individuals' needs and adapt to changing circumstances with flexibility and compassion

What We're Looking For

• Previous direct care experience (counted toward your hourly rate)
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
• Compassion, reliability, and a genuine commitment to supporting others
• Physical ability to perform care tasks safely
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including some evenings as needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Shift Options

We offer scheduling flexibility to meet your needs. Choose from:

• 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Sunday–Thursday with occasional evening shifts
• 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, Tuesday–Saturday
