Data Protection Officer (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential mobility technology organization seeking a Data Protection Officer to join their team in München. In this role, you will:

• Advise internal departments on all matters related to data protection law
• Review and assess complex data protection scenarios and compliance questions
• Work closely with the Group Data Protection Officer and their team
• Communicate GDPR requirements throughout the organization and support business units in meeting compliance standards
• Design and deliver data protection training programs for various teams
• Serve as a trusted partner to teams working with personal data, ensuring they can operate responsibly while supporting business growth

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience in data protection advisory or compliance roles
• Qualified lawyer (Diplom or Volljurist, Syndikusrechtsanwalt admission not possible), business lawyer (Wirtschaftsjurist), IT professional (Wirtschaftsinformatiker/Informatiker), or comparable qualification
• Strong affinity for information technology and technical systems
• Ability to explain complex matters clearly and develop pragmatic, compliant solutions
• Fluency in German and English required; additional languages are advantageous
• Strong communication skills and ability to balance compliance requirements with business needs
