About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential InsurTech organization based in Munich that is transforming how businesses manage their insurance needs through digital innovation. Our talent team is seeking a (Senior) DevOps Engineer to join their growing technical operations.
This role offers high ownership and the opportunity to shape the technical infrastructure of a platform serving thousands of business customers. You'll work closely with product teams to elevate the entire development lifecycle while driving the evolution toward a secure, multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
Responsibilities
- Enhance DevOps culture and technical environment by applying industry best practices and your operational expertise
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to optimize developer experience, release management, and CI/CD automation
- Drive the technical evolution toward a secure, multi-tenant SaaS platform—designing tenant isolation, strengthening security posture, and implementing access controls that meet compliance expectations
- Ensure platform reliability through robust monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions
- Introduce release practices that minimize risk while maintaining deployment velocity
- Evaluate and implement modern tooling and approaches to solve infrastructure challenges
What We're Looking For
- Production experience with containers and orchestration technologies, preferably Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of automation and configuration management tools—Terraform experience required
- Expertise with at least one logging, monitoring, and tracing solution (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud provider, preferably AWS
- Understanding of application code (NodeJS preferred) and database systems is a significant plus
- Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team
- Understanding of how operational excellence directly impacts business growth and customer satisfaction
- Strong communication skills in English; German is beneficial but not required
