Customer Success Engineer with Portuguese

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization seeking a Customer Success Engineer with Portuguese to join their SASE team in Portugal. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical contact for enterprise customers, helping them maximize their security investments through strategic guidance, rapid implementations, and ongoing operational support.

You will work directly with CISOs, Security Architects, and DevOps teams to implement cloud security solutions, resolve technical challenges, and ensure customers achieve their business and security objectives.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers in implementing and operationalizing SASE solutions to achieve their security and business goals
• Integrate security solutions into customers' existing security and networking operations
• Serve as first point of contact for technical assistance, coordinating resolutions with engineering teams as needed
• Act as customer advocate, influencing product roadmap improvements based on client feedback
• Coach customers on establishing Cloud Security Change Management, Governance, and Center of Excellence programs
• Identify risks to customer success and collaborate with account teams to build mitigation plans
• Develop deep expertise in SASE security solutions and serve as a subject matter expert
• Drive measurable outcomes including customer satisfaction, renewal rates, adoption metrics, and reference-ability

What We're Looking For

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in pre-sales, post-sales, technical support, consulting, or similar roles
• Fluency in Portuguese and English required
• In-depth understanding of networking and security concepts with experience across multi-vendor networking devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Strong understanding of SASE architecture and value proposition
• Experience with Data Security products (CASB, DLP)
• Enterprise-level expertise in Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Expertise with Remote Access VPN solutions, IPSEC, PKI, SSL, TCP/IP
• Knowledge of Authentication Protocols (SAML, SSO, LDAP, RADIUS)
• Proficiency with Linux, including BASH and Python scripting
• Proven track record managing customer escalations and negotiating successful resolutions
• Strong consulting and project management skills
• Ability to articulate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executives
• Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
• Availability for after-hours work on a scheduled and non-scheduled basis
