Customer Operations Executive

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is transforming how small businesses access capital in the UK. Our client has built a data-driven platform that serves thousands of businesses, contributing billions to the national economy. They combine the innovation of a technology company with the stability of an established player in the market.

As a Customer Operations Executive, you'll be at the frontline of customer experience, supporting the sales and operations channels. This is a hybrid role based in London, requiring three days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer enquiries via telephone and email, providing accurate information and resolving queries
• Request and collect necessary documentation from borrowers through various communication channels
• Maintain and update the Salesforce CRM system to ensure loan applications progress smoothly through the pipeline
• Build and maintain productive relationships with third-party suppliers and internal departments
• Support business reporting by ensuring data accuracy and timely updates
• Proactively identify risks, issues, or control weaknesses and implement appropriate mitigation strategies
• Leverage approved AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance personal productivity

• Transparent communication style, capable of delivering both positive and challenging messages to customers
• Adaptability and willingness to provide constructive feedback on products and customer sentiment
• Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for using generative AI to improve daily tasks
• Confidence in using approved AI tools safely and effectively
• Experience with Salesforce CRM is advantageous but not essential
