Customer Care France – Accounting

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization in their search for a Customer Care Manager – Accounting (France) based in Paris. Our client is launching a brand-new accounting offering for French solo entrepreneurs and needs someone to own the customer experience from day one.

This is a ground-floor opportunity where you'll build the playbook, not just follow it. You'll handle day-to-day customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone while working closely with accountants to ensure seamless handoffs. Your insights will directly shape product improvements and operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the ticket queue for French solo entrepreneurs, responding to questions via Zendesk (email, chat, and phone)
• Take over client requests handed off by accountants so they can focus on core accounting work
• Build support infrastructure from scratch: create FAQs, macros, and scalable workflows for a brand-new service line
• Flag recurring issues and feed insights back to Product teams to address root causes
• Maintain high customer satisfaction while managing multiple communication channels simultaneously

What We're Looking For

• Native or near-native French fluency (written and spoken) – this is essential
• Fast learner who can pick up complex, technical topics independently (no accounting background required)
• Highly organized under pressure; able to juggle email, chat, and calls without dropping threads
• Customer-obsessed mindset – you naturally put yourself in the client's shoes before responding
• Open to using AI tools in your day-to-day work (curiosity counts more than expertise)
• Experience building processes or documentation in a previous role is a strong plus
