CT Technologist Bastrop FSED

St. David's South Austin Medical Center in Round Rock, Williamson County is seeking a part-time CT Technologist Bastrop FSED to join our diagnostic imaging department. As a CT Technologist, you'll operate advanced computed tomography equipment and produce the high-quality diagnostic images that guide clinical decision-making and patient care.

About the Role

In this part-time CT Technologist position, you'll work in a fast-paced imaging environment at St. David's South Austin Medical Center, serving patients throughout Round Rock and Williamson County. Your technical expertise and patient care skills will be essential to our imaging operations and the quality outcomes we deliver.

What You'll Do

• Operate computed tomography scanners and imaging equipment to capture diagnostic-quality images
• Position patients and explain CT procedures to ensure comfort, cooperation, and optimal image quality
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond appropriately to patient needs during imaging procedures
• Apply and maintain strict radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
• Document patient information, procedures, and imaging results accurately in medical records
• Communicate technical findings and imaging data to radiologists and clinical teams
• Maintain CT equipment in proper working order and report maintenance or operational issues
• Keep the imaging department clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

What We're Looking For

• Current CT certification or radiography certification with CT credential
• Solid understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging principles
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and medical staff
• Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, patient-centered healthcare setting
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic image quality
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and assist patients safely
• Experience with electronic health records and medical imaging technology
• Dedication to radiation safety and infection prevention best practices
