About the Role
As a Crushing & Mill Operator, you'll manage critical plant equipment that processes ore through our mineral recovery workflow. Working at our Golden Valley facility, you'll ensure consistent output, maintain safety protocols, and keep our operations running smoothly across shifts. This is a full-time position where your attention to detail directly impacts production quality and facility efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Operate and monitor crushing and milling equipment throughout processing cycles
- Maintain equipment functionality by performing routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks
- Monitor production parameters, mineral flow rates, and processing stages to meet daily targets
- Track and record operational data, equipment performance, and process metrics
- Identify equipment issues early and communicate maintenance needs to the service team
- Adhere to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and production quality standards
- Collaborate with operators and supervisors to troubleshoot processing challenges
- Support training of new operators when needed
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience operating crushing, milling, or mineral processing equipment
- Working knowledge of mineral processing workflows and grinding principles
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Comfort reading gauges, monitoring control panels, and interpreting production data
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to following established procedures
- Reliability and ability to work assigned shifts, including potential swing or graveyard rotations
- Team player with solid communication skills
