Contract IT Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing SaaS organization seeking a Contract IT Specialist to support their globally distributed team across LATAM, Canada, and the USA. This is a hands-on, full-time contract role focused on day-to-day IT operations in a fully remote environment. You'll be available during standard business hours (8am–5pm in your timezone) to respond to requests, maintain systems, and support employees across the organization. This contract engagement offers potential conversion to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 1–2 IT support across hardware, software, SaaS applications, and remote connectivity with a customer-service-first approach
• Support employee lifecycle workflows including onboarding, offboarding, and role changes while following established procedures and identifying improvement opportunities
• Maintain identity and access management tasks such as provisioning, SSO configuration, and group/role-based access across core systems
• Manage device fleet health through MDM tools, ensuring compliance, endpoint protection, patching, and proper configuration
• Respond to SOC 2, ISO, and HIPAA compliance requests through evidence collection, access review preparation, and control adherence
• Keep operational documentation current and collaborate with cross-functional teams on various IT requests

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT operations, ideally in a remote-first SaaS environment
• Hands-on experience with MDM solutions such as Kandji, Jamf, Intune, or similar platforms
• Experience with identity and access management tools (Okta or similar), SSO, and role-based access controls
• Comfort using scripting or workflow automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks
• Strong troubleshooting skills on macOS (Windows experience is a plus)
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities
• Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO, or HIPAA activities including access reviews, evidence gathering, and control adherence is preferred
• Responsiveness and ability to quickly unblock colleagues
• Customer-service mindset with focus on user satisfaction alongside policy adherence
• Reliability and readiness to tackle varied daily challenges

Pay

This is an estimated 3-month contract engagement. Pay via Get A Job.ai: $46–54/hr USD, depending on experience. There is potential to convert to a full-time role based on performance and business need.
