About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential life sciences organization seeking a Clinical Research Associate to join their Australian operations. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full spectrum of clinical trial monitoring activities, from site qualification through study close-out, while contributing to research that impacts patient outcomes globally.

Responsibilities

As a Clinical Research Associate, you will:

• Perform site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring, site management and close-out visits (on-site or remotely) ensuring regulatory, ICH-GCP and protocol compliance
• Verify informed consent processes and documentation for each participant, maintaining strict confidentiality standards
• Conduct source document review and verify clinical data accuracy and completeness against case report forms
• Manage query resolution remotely and on-site, driving timely closure within agreed project timelines
• Perform investigational product inventory, reconciliation, and verify proper dispensing and administration according to protocol
• Review Investigator Site Files for accuracy, timeliness and completeness; reconcile with Trial Master Files
• Document all monitoring activities via trip reports, confirmation letters, communication logs and other required project documents
• Support subject recruitment and retention strategies while managing site-level activities to meet project objectives and timelines
• Serve as liaison with project site personnel and ensure all sites and team members receive required training
• Prepare for and attend investigator meetings and clinical training sessions
• Provide guidance toward audit readiness standards and support preparation for regulatory audits
• For real-world late phase studies: conduct chart abstraction, collaborate with medical science liaisons, develop country-level informed consent forms, and identify operational efficiencies

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or Registered Nurse qualification in a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH Guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements
• Strong computer skills and ability to embrace new technologies for electronic data capture and clinical trial management systems
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with developing critical thinking abilities
• Ability to manage required travel up to 75% on a regular basis
• Strong organizational skills and ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
• Attention to detail with ability to assess site performance and identify compliance issues
• Experience or understanding of clinical trial monitoring processes preferred
