About the Role
As our Commercial Driver – Part Time, you'll operate a commercial vehicle to deliver automotive products on assigned routes in Ontario, Richland County. You'll be the face of Autozone for many customers, ensuring they receive their merchandise on schedule and in good condition.
What You'll Do
- Operate a commercial vehicle safely and efficiently on established delivery routes
- Transport automotive merchandise to customer locations throughout the service area
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and keep dispatch informed of your status
- Load, unload, and secure products to prevent damage during transit
- Provide courteous, professional service when interacting with customers at delivery points
- Maintain the vehicle in clean, safe operating condition and report maintenance needs
- Assist with warehouse and inventory tasks during off-hours or between deliveries as needed
What We're Looking For
- Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving history
- Proven ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and responsibly
- Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility with part-time scheduling
- Professional communication skills and customer-service orientation
- Physical capability to load, unload, and secure automotive products
- Familiarity with automotive parts and products (a plus)
- Attention to detail with delivery and inventory documentation
