About the Role

As a PreK Lead Teacher, you'll take the lead in planning, implementing, and delivering high-quality early childhood education programming for pre-kindergarten students. You'll be responsible for creating a safe, inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development while fostering a genuine love of learning.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, activities, and learning experiences for preschool learners
• Create and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that encourages exploration and discovery
• Observe and assess individual student progress, strengths, and developmental needs
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and team members
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's learning, growth, and classroom activities
• Supervise and guide students during transitions, routines, and outdoor play
• Collaborate with assistant teachers and support staff to provide consistent care and education
• Model respectful, patient, and encouraging behavior that promotes a positive learning community

What We're Looking For

• Teaching certification or eligibility requirements as required by state and employer standards
• Experience working with preschool-age children in an educational or childcare setting
• Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a classroom, establish routines, and guide student behavior constructively
• Passion for early childhood education and genuine commitment to child growth and development
• Flexibility, patience, and a positive, collaborative attitude
