Clinical Director

Vetncare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Director to join our growing team in Castro Valley, CA. As a key leader in our veterinary practice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our patients and the well-being of our staff.

About the Role

• Lead and mentor a team of veterinary professionals, ensuring their professional development and performance.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including scheduling, patient flow, and quality assurance.
• Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines to ensure consistency and excellence in patient care.
• Collaborate with the management team to establish and maintain operational standards and compliance with industry regulations.
• Act as a liaison between the clinic and external stakeholders, such as referring veterinarians and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional clinical care and lead the clinical team in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Ensure all staff members are trained and competent in their roles, and provide regular feedback and support.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and referring veterinarians to enhance patient care and practice growth.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to staff to improve their skills and performance.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new clinical initiatives and programs to advance the practice.

Requirements

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of experience in a veterinary clinic, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of clinical excellence and leadership in a veterinary setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, staff, and external partners.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
