What You'll Do
- Operate a Class A tractor-trailer safely over assigned regional routes in and around the Winston Salem, NC area
- Execute drop-and-hook freight moves efficiently to keep loads moving on schedule
- Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required by DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic logs (ELD) in full compliance with Hours of Service rules
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or equipment concerns
- Uphold all federal and state transportation safety standards on every run
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) — required
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean motor vehicle record with no disqualifying violations
- Current DOT medical certificate or ability to pass a DOT physical
- Solid working knowledge of ELD systems and federal HOS regulations
- Reliable, professional attitude with strong communication habits
