About the Role

As a Prime Contracts Manager/PI Commercial at Bechtel, you'll lead critical commercial contract management and prime contract interface functions for large-scale projects. This full-time position is based in our Fairbanks, Indiana office and requires an in-person commitment to supporting project delivery and stakeholder success.

What You'll Do

• Oversee prime contract administration, including terms, conditions, and ongoing performance compliance
• Manage commercial interfaces between prime contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
• Develop and maintain contract documentation, change orders, and commercial correspondence
• Monitor contract budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with project objectives
• Coordinate with legal, procurement, and project management teams to resolve commercial issues
• Track contract metrics and reporting requirements for internal and external stakeholders
• Support risk identification and mitigation related to commercial terms and conditions

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in contracts management, preferably in heavy construction or engineering
• Expertise in commercial contract administration and prime contractor interface management
• Strong understanding of contract law, standard terms, and commercial best practices
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with contract management software and project tracking tools
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, law, or related field is preferred
