About the Role

We're actively recruiting a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing support to our home-based clients throughout the Lake Tapawingo area. As a part-time home care LPN, you'll perform assessments, execute care plan requirements, and conduct in-home visits that directly enable clients to safely remain in their communities. This flexible position includes paid mileage reimbursement and allows you to balance meaningful clinical work with schedule flexibility.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Perform client health assessments and evaluations during in-home visits
• Administer medications and execute care plans as directed by supervising physicians
• Monitor and document vital signs, health status, and client progress
• Deliver basic medical procedures including wound care and catheter management
• Communicate health updates to clients, families, and the care coordination team
• Maintain detailed, accurate nursing documentation for each client visit
• Ensure client safety and comfort in the home environment
• Manage your route and schedule to maximize visit efficiency across Jackson County

Skills & Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license in good standing in Missouri
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
• Demonstrated clinical nursing competency and medical knowledge
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
