AECOM is hiring a Civil Site Lead, Power Delivery for a remote, full-time position supporting our operations in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County. You'll manage civil site operations and teams responsible for power delivery infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and performance standards while coordinating across engineering, construction, and stakeholder groups.

About the Role

This leadership position puts you at the center of civil construction activities for power transmission and distribution infrastructure. You'll oversee site execution, manage teams and contractors, and serve as the primary point of contact for on-site decisions—ensuring projects stay on track, on budget, and compliant with all applicable standards.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and supervise civil site teams and subcontractors on power delivery infrastructure projects
  • Develop site plans, construction schedules, and safety protocols aligned with project requirements
  • Monitor construction quality, progress, budget performance, and schedule adherence
  • Coordinate with engineering teams, procurement, and client stakeholders to manage site-level issues
  • Conduct daily site inspections and maintain detailed project records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, OSHA safety standards, and industry codes
  • Oversee subcontractor performance, staffing levels, and resource planning
  • Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to project leadership

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent field experience
  • 5 or more years leading civil construction, site operations, or project teams
  • Proven experience managing power delivery, transmission, or electrical distribution projects
  • Solid knowledge of construction scheduling, cost management, and project controls
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with project management systems, scheduling software, and documentation platforms
  • Ability to manage remote coordination and lead distributed teams effectively
