AECOM is recruiting a BIM Specialist Revit based in Chennai, India, to join our growing team of design and engineering professionals.
About This Position
We are seeking an experienced BIM Specialist with advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit to support our infrastructure and construction projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise in Building Information Modelling to deliver high-quality design outputs and enhance project coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive BIM models using Autodesk Revit for architectural, structural, and MEP systems
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless model coordination and data consistency
- Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and schedules from BIM models for construction and tender phases
- Implement and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices across project deliverables
- Troubleshoot model conflicts and coordinate revisions to meet project timelines and specifications
- Support training and knowledge transfer to project teams on BIM methodologies and tools
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Autodesk Revit for architectural, structural, or MEP modelling
- Strong understanding of Building Information Modelling principles, workflows, and industry standards
- Proficiency with CAD software and familiarity with additional BIM tools or Navisworks experience
- Sound knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and design specifications
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Degree in architecture, engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
