BIM Specialist

Position Summary

As a BIM Specialist at AECOM, you'll play a key role in advancing our digital transformation across the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors. Working remotely from Gurgaon, you'll support the development, implementation, and optimisation of Building Information Modelling workflows and technical infrastructure. This is a full-time position where technical expertise meets strategic project delivery.

Core Duties

• Oversee BIM model development, coordination, and quality assurance across project portfolios
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction professionals to establish consistent modelling standards and protocols
• Manage BIM data, metadata structures, and federated model environments
• Develop and refine BIM guidelines, best-practice documentation, and procedural workflows
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams on BIM tools and industry methodologies
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with BIM software platforms and 3D modelling tools
• Strong foundational knowledge of Building Information Modelling concepts, workflows, and industry standards
• Understanding of data management, interoperability protocols (IFC, COBie), and model validation
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities across technical and non-technical teams
• Problem-solving capability with meticulous attention to detail and quality assurance
• Self-directed work style suited to remote collaboration and independent project management
• Relevant qualification or degree in architecture, engineering, or related discipline preferred
