About This Opportunity
Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential technology organization based in China. They are building next-generation intelligent applications focused on proactive workflows and minimal-prompt interfaces. This is a senior technical leadership position reporting directly to executive leadership, with responsibility for technology strategy and engineering standards across multiple product lines.
Responsibilities
- Own architecture and major technical decisions across group products and platforms
- Review critical systems, architecture, infrastructure and code directly
- Set engineering standards across reliability, security, performance, testing and code quality
- Identify technical debt and architecture constraints and drive their resolution
- Improve engineering productivity, development speed and production reliability
- Decide where technology and infrastructure should be shared across business units
- Recruit and assess senior engineers, technical leads and engineering leaders
What We're Looking For
- Deep software engineering background with experience building and scaling production systems
- Strong knowledge of backend systems, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
- Experience making architecture decisions across multiple products or engineering teams
- Strong technical judgement and ability to challenge engineering decisions at implementation level
- Proven ability to build world-class engineering teams
- Still technically hands-on—able to review code, architecture, incidents and difficult engineering problems directly
