Chef Manager

ARAMARK is hiring a Chef Manager to lead culinary operations at our healthcare facility in Peoria, Peoria County. This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to the Executive Chef, where you'll combine culinary excellence with operational leadership to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a healthcare setting.

As Chef Manager, you'll oversee daily kitchen operations, menu development, and food preparation while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute menus that meet healthcare nutritional guidelines and patient preferences
• Oversee kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
• Monitor food quality, plating, portion control, and adherence to food safety standards
• Manage food inventory, purchasing, and budget accountability
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and nutrition services to ensure menu consistency and compliance
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment and enforce sanitation protocols
• Address patient feedback and continuously improve dining operations

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef Manager or comparable culinary leadership role
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, nutrition, and healthcare dietary standards
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a kitchen team
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills under fast-paced conditions
• Proficiency in food safety certifications and best practices (HACCP, ServSafe, or equivalent)
• Problem-solving mindset and commitment to quality and patient satisfaction
• Ability to work full-time on-site with flexibility for kitchen operations
