Custodial Director

Aramark is seeking a Custodial Director for our William Penn Annex East facility in Philadelphia County. This full-time, third-shift leadership position offers the opportunity to manage all custodial operations while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance.

About the Role

As Custodial Director, you'll lead our nighttime cleaning and maintenance team, reporting directly to the General Manager or District Manager. You'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all custodial activities across the facility while ensuring adherence to Aramark's operational standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines. This role demands strong financial oversight and the ability to foster collaborative relationships across departments to support facility-wide goals.

What You'll Do

• Direct and supervise all third-shift custodial staff and operations
• Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and maintenance tasks
• Manage custodial budgets and maintain financial accountability for departmental expenses
• Ensure compliance with Aramark standards, client specifications, and all applicable regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with other departments to support facility operations
• Monitor service quality standards and implement continuous improvements
• Conduct staff training on procedures, safety protocols, and performance expectations

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in custodial management, facility maintenance, or similar supervisory role
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
• Knowledge of cleaning standards, procedures, and industry best practices
• Experience managing budgets and tracking financial metrics
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in facility management
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
