CFOEV – Finance Transformation Manager

Accenture is seeking a CFOEV - Finance Transformation Manager to join its team in Fort Myer, Arlington County, where you will partner with finance leaders to reshape operating models and drive enterprise‑wide value.

About the Role

In this full‑time position you will work closely with CFOs and finance executives to design and implement transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, control costs, and uncover new growth opportunities. You will combine process expertise, technology enablement, and analytical insight to help finance functions become strategic business partners.

What You'll Do

• Lead finance transformation projects from assessment through execution, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy.
• Analyze current finance processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend target operating models that leverage automation and best‑practice frameworks.
• Partner with IT and business stakeholders to select, configure, and deploy finance technology solutions such as ERP systems, FP&A tools, and analytics platforms.
• Develop detailed business cases, track benefits realization, and report progress to senior leadership using clear, data‑driven narratives.
• Facilitate change management activities, including stakeholder workshops, training plans, and communication strategies to sustain adoption.
• Monitor key performance indicators related to cost management, profitability, and working capital, recommending corrective actions as needed.
• Identify emerging finance trends and advise on opportunities for innovation, such as advanced analytics, robotic process automation, or digital finance services.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading finance transformation or business process improvement initiatives within large, complex organizations.
• Strong grasp of finance operating models, including core processes such as close, planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Hands‑on familiarity with finance technology stacks (ERP, CPM, data visualization) and the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the capability to build financial models, conduct variance analysis, and derive actionable insights.
• Effective communicator who can influence senior executives, translate complex concepts into clear recommendations, and manage cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated change‑management expertise, including experience guiding teams through process redesign and technology adoption.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (CPA, CFA, PMP, etc.) are a plus.
