CEO – AI Stockbroking

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization in their search for a CEO to build and lead an AI-native stockbroking business from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to combine brokerage infrastructure expertise with cutting-edge AI applications in trading, research, and portfolio management.

You will own the complete proposition—from product vision and business model through to P&L, regulatory readiness, and market expansion. This role demands someone who has built and scaled brokerage or trading products before and understands how to apply AI to improve discovery, research, and execution workflows for retail investors.

Responsibilities

• Define the AI stockbroking proposition, product roadmap, and business model
• Build AI-native experiences across stock discovery, research, trading, portfolio management, and market information
• Own P&L, funded accounts, assets under management, trading activity, revenue, and unit economics
• Build the brokerage product and underlying trading, custody, and market infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and AI teams on capabilities and execution
• Own brokerage, custody, market data, and other strategic partnerships
• Build the core team and drive licensing, regulatory compliance, and market expansion

What We're Looking For

• Deep experience in stockbroking, brokerage, trading, or consumer investing platforms
• Direct ownership of a meaningful brokerage or trading product, business unit, or P&L
• Strong understanding of brokerage economics, trading infrastructure, market mechanics, and regulatory frameworks
• Strong product judgment and vision for how AI can transform stock discovery, research, and trading workflows
• Proven experience building and scaling technology products and teams
• Hands-on operating capability—able to work directly through product flows, brokerage infrastructure, economics, and execution details
• Strong English communication skills for working across global teams

Location and Work Arrangement

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are competitive for a CEO-level role building a new business unit within a growth-stage fintech organization.
