About the Role
As a CDL‑A Southeast Regional Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight on scheduled runs that cover multiple states within the Deep South footprint. You will operate modern van equipment, maintain accurate logs, and ensure timely deliveries while representing the company’s commitment to service excellence.
What You'll Do
- Load, secure, and unload cargo according to safety regulations and customer requirements.
- Plan routes efficiently, adhering to Hours‑of‑Service rules and dispatch instructions.
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the tractor and trailer, reporting any mechanical issues.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel.
- Complete all required paperwork, including bills of lading, delivery confirmations, and inspection reports.
- Uphold a professional appearance and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and the public.
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL‑A license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of six months of over‑the‑road or regional driving experience (preferred).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Strong time‑management skills and a commitment to safety.
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently while staying connected with the team.
