U.S. Xpress - OTR is hiring dedicated Class A truck drivers for full-time over-the-road positions based in Fort Ashby, Mineral County. If you hold a valid CDL-A and have 1–5 months of professional driving experience, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

As a company driver with U.S. Xpress - OTR, you'll operate dry van equipment across the continental United States, managing long-haul routes while maintaining safety and delivery standards. This full-time position offers flexibility to schedule home time that aligns with your personal needs—whether you drive solo or as part of a team.

What You'll Do

• Operate Class A tractor-trailer units on routes averaging 2,000–5,000 miles per week based on solo or team configuration
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain equipment condition
• Meet delivery schedules while adhering to federal hours-of-service regulations and safety protocols
• Maintain accurate logbook entries and trip documentation
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to coordinate loads and resolve issues

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL-A license with clean driving record
• 1 to 5 months of recent commercial driving experience
• Current DOT medical certification
• Commitment to safety, professionalism, and federal compliance
• Reliable, safety-focused attitude and strong work ethic

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay: 57–64 cents per mile based on experience level
• Solo drivers earn an average of $4,000 sign-on bonus with typical routes of 2,000 miles weekly
• Team drivers receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus (split) and $0.72–$0.80 per mile (split compensation) with routes averaging 5,000 miles weekly
• Top-performing drivers in our fleet earn up to $1,600 per week
