About the Role

As a Catering Cook with Fireside Catering, you'll contribute to both our prep kitchen operations and live event service. Your work spans ingredient preparation in our commissary, as well as hands-on cooking and plating at client events. You'll support the execution of menus ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale weddings, each with distinct culinary requirements and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion ingredients in the commissary and scratch kitchen according to recipe specifications and event timelines
• Execute cooking tasks during events, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes
• Plate and present prepared meals to meet event-specific standards and client expectations
• Work collaboratively with the catering team to deliver meals for multiple events with varying menu themes
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards throughout all prep and service activities

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional kitchen, commissary, or catering setting (preferred)
• Knowledge of food safety and proper handling procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines
• Flexibility to accommodate varying event schedules and prep demands
