About the Role
As a part-time caregiver at Americare, you'll provide direct, in-home support to veteran clients. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work with a population that deeply values quality care. Our veteran clients receive premium care placement, and experienced caregivers often enjoy higher earnings and consistent work.
What You'll Do
- Assist veterans with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
- Help with medication reminders, light housekeeping, and meal preparation as needed
- Monitor client health and report changes to Americare management
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the care team
- Respect client dignity, privacy, and independence at all times
What We're Looking For
- Genuine passion for serving veterans and seniors
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and professional demeanor
- Physical ability to assist with basic mobility and personal care
- Valid driver's license and transportation (preferred)
- Caregiver experience or certification is a plus but we'll train the right person
- Background check required
