Business Development Intern (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential PropTech organization based in Düsseldorf that is transforming how property management operates in Germany. Our talent team is seeking a Business Development Intern who will work at the intersection of operations, automation, and client onboarding to help scale a growing platform.

This is an internship position based in Düsseldorf with direct access to the founding team and immediate ownership of strategic projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structured onboarding process for new clients, managing data collection, owner coordination, and handoff to property management teams
• Identify manual and repetitive workflows, then implement no-code and low-code automation solutions to measurably improve operational efficiency
• Analyze existing operations processes, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and develop streamlined, standardized workflows with the team
• Serve as the primary operational contact for external partners and service providers, reviewing proposals and ensuring clear communication
• Help build scalable operational structures including internal process documentation, standardized checklists, and frameworks to support nationwide expansion

• Strong structural thinking: you recognize patterns, think in systems, and can break down complexity while prioritizing effectively
• Hands-on, low-ego mentality with the ability to work independently, reliably, and pragmatically
• Excellent communication skills with professional presence when working with teams, partners, and stakeholders
• Tech-savvy: currently using AI tools or no-code solutions productively, or eager to develop deep expertise in these areas
• Fluent German and business-level English (written and spoken)
• Bonus: Interest in real estate, PropTech, or digitalization of regulated markets
