The Opportunity
This full-time Boucher position offers day shift work with 30–40 hours per week at our Montréal location. We're seeking an experienced meat professional to take a leading role in our butcher department, where precision, food safety, and customer satisfaction are paramount. You'll be part of a dedicated team at one of Montréal's trusted grocery destinations.
Your Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, and prepare fresh meat and poultry to precise specifications for retail display and customer orders
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing meat displays that meet food safety and presentation standards
- Execute proper handling, storage, and rotation of all meat products according to health and safety regulations
- Provide knowledgeable customer service, answering questions and fulfilling custom cutting requests
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management on ordering and product availability
- Uphold strict hygiene and sanitation protocols throughout the department
