Biostatistician II with Security Clearance

Keaki Technologies is recruiting a Biostatistician II with Security Clearance to join our team in Aberdeen, Harford County. In this full-time role, you will deliver statistical guidance and analysis support for public health research initiatives serving our government customer.

What This Role Involves

As a Biostatistician II, you'll apply statistical expertise to shape the design and execution of public health studies. This role sits at the intersection of rigorous methodology and real-world research impact, where your guidance directly influences how scientific questions are answered and evidence is gathered. You'll work closely with research teams to translate study objectives into sound statistical approaches, review complex analytical methodologies, and ensure the integrity of statistical findings throughout the research lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide statistical guidance and recommendations for study design, ensuring public health research follows best practices and regulatory standards
• Write and review statistical sections of research protocols, reports, and publications
• Develop comprehensive analysis plans that specify statistical methods, assumptions, and validation approaches
• Prepare detailed statistical specifications and methodological documentation
• Collaborate with research teams to identify appropriate statistical techniques for diverse public health questions
• Support government-sponsored research initiatives with analytical expertise and quality assurance

Requirements

• Active security clearance or demonstrated ability to obtain one
• Master's degree or higher in biostatistics, statistics, or a closely related quantitative field
• Proven experience in statistical analysis and study design for public health or clinical research
• Strong written communication skills, with ability to explain complex statistical concepts clearly
• Proficiency with statistical software and data analysis tools
• Demonstrated competency in preparing detailed statistical documentation and analysis plans
