About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential healthcare organization seeking a BI Developer, Clinical Data - Business Optimization Strategist to join their team on a fully remote basis within the United States. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is conducting the search for this strategic technical role that combines data analytics, business intelligence development, and healthcare process improvement.
This position offers the opportunity to lead analytical solution design and implementation while working directly with clinical and operational stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports using development best practices including version control, performance tuning, and reusable design patterns
- Write and optimize complex DAX, including time intelligence, calculation groups, and filter context manipulation to deliver accurate, fast metrics
- Design semantic models in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to ensure business logic and metrics remain consistent and reusable across reports and workspaces
- Develop and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and views that support efficient data extraction and transformation for reporting
- Translate business requirements into clear dashboards and visualizations that enable informed decision-making across the organization
- Serve as the first point of contact for data analytics and process improvement initiatives
- Perform data analysis and create queries, programs, and automation solutions
- Apply data governance practices including row-level security, data classification, and access controls to maintain data security, accuracy, and compliance
- Lead data requirements gathering for problem identification, resolution, and solution design
- Provide analytical insights from data to drive strategic business decisions
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure successful completion of analytics initiatives
- Manage workload and balance quality with deadlines to fulfill user expectations and project goals
- Communicate project nature, significance, and risk factors to all stakeholders
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications (Option 1):
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or Hospital Administration, OR 4 years of data analytics experience
- 1 year of experience working with relational database structures including design, testing, and troubleshooting
- 1 year of experience in data analysis and/or healthcare planning
- 1 year of experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports
- Experience with SQL/Oracle and/or Business Objects
- Must achieve EPIC "Proficient" designation within the probationary period

Key Skills:
- Technical proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Tableau, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical methods to ensure reported data is meaningful and accurate
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
- Excellent oral and written communication skills across all organizational levels
- Critical thinking skills to assess analytical needs and determine appropriate courses of action
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively as a team member
- Project coordination and management capabilities
