About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology client in Hamburg who is seeking apprentices for a Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration (IT Systems Integration Specialist) training program. Our client operates in the logistics software sector and provides an excellent foundation for launching your IT career.

This is a full apprenticeship position (Ausbildung) based in Hamburg, offering hands-on experience across the entire IT landscape—from system administration and user support to cloud infrastructure and mobile device management.

Responsibilities

As an apprentice, you will be actively involved from day one:

• Install and maintain internal IT systems within a modern Microsoft environment
• Provide technical support to colleagues through phone and remote assistance
• Learn to configure databases, mail servers, and industry-specific applications
• Work with both cloud-based systems and customer-hosted servers
• Support software solutions running on thousands of mobile devices including smartphones and tablets
• Manage data transfers securely and maintain software systems with current updates
• Understand interfaces between different programs and how they communicate
• Gain exposure to consulting, project management, programming, installation, maintenance, and support functions

What We're Looking For

• Completed school education (Schulabschluss), ideally with strong grades in mathematics and/or computer science
• Initial experience with IT fundamentals, networks, or operating systems
• Microsoft knowledge is a plus
• Independent working style with goal-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills and genuine curiosity about technology
• Enthusiasm for supporting both internal IT infrastructure and end users
• Team-oriented mindset and eagerness to learn
