This full-time position leads the design and delivery of comprehensive career development strategies and support systems for students pursuing careers in consulting.

About the Role

In this role, you will shape the consulting career pathway for Vanderbilt students, creating a bridge between academic preparation and industry recruitment. You'll design and oversee a competitive, structured program that prepares students for the rigorous consulting recruiting process through targeted advising, skill-building experiences, and employer partnerships. Your work will ensure students have the knowledge, preparation timelines, and professional development they need to succeed in consulting careers.

What You'll Do

• Develop and refine consulting career pathways that align with industry standards and student learning outcomes
• Build and maintain relationships with consulting firms, recruitment partners, and industry professionals
• Design and facilitate experiential learning opportunities, including case competitions, mock interviews, and business skills workshops
• Advise students on consulting careers, resume development, interview preparation, and professional positioning
• Manage internship placement processes and track student outcomes through recruitment cycles
• Coordinate with faculty, academic departments, and career services to integrate consulting preparation into broader student development
• Create clear milestones and timelines that help students understand the consulting recruitment pathway

• Experience in career development, advising, or student services, ideally with exposure to consulting or professional services recruiting
• Strong ability to build relationships and partnerships across institutions and industries
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
