Urban1 is hiring an R1 Digital Media Strategist to join our Digital department at our Greenway Plaza headquarters in Houston, Texas. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Digital Sales Manager and offers the opportunity to shape digital media strategy for one of America's leading urban media companies.
About the Role
As an R1 Digital Media Strategist at Urban1, you'll develop and execute digital media strategies that leverage our extensive portfolio across radio, television, and digital platforms. You'll work at the intersection of strategy and sales, driving results for clients through innovative digital solutions and data-driven insights.
What You'll Do
- Develop comprehensive digital media strategies aligned with client objectives and market opportunities
- Analyze performance metrics and audience data to optimize campaign effectiveness across digital channels
- Partner with the Digital Sales team to identify and pitch strategic solutions to clients
- Collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure strategic alignment on campaigns
- Monitor digital media trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic recommendations
- Support proposal development and presentation of digital media strategies to prospective and existing clients
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing digital media strategies
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting
- Knowledge of digital platforms, advertising formats, and audience targeting capabilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners
- Strategic thinking with attention to detail and project management capabilities
