About the Role

Guidehouse’s Life Sciences practice partners with pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device organizations to turn data into actionable insight. In this senior advisory position you will lead multidisciplinary teams that design and execute real‑world evidence studies, support medical affairs strategies, and help clients navigate regulatory and market access challenges. The role sits within the Strategy & Transformation Consulting family and involves up to 25 % travel to client sites and industry events. No security clearance is required.

What You'll Do

• Drive the end‑to‑end delivery of RWE projects, from study design and protocol development to data analysis and manuscript preparation.
• Advise medical affairs leaders on evidence generation plans that align with brand objectives, payer needs, and HTA requirements.
• Mentor junior consultants, fostering technical expertise in epidemiology, biostatistics, and health economics.
• Cultivate client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to thought leadership through publications and conference presentations.
• Ensure all work adheres to Guidehouse’s quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and internal compliance policies.

What We're Looking For

• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or Master’s) in life sciences, epidemiology, public health, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in medical affairs, including medical affairs, HEOR, or consulting in the pharmaceutical or a strongly client
• Proven track record of designing and executing real‑world studies, leveraging claims, EHR, registry, or patient‑reported outcome data.
• Strong statistical and analytical skills; proficiency with SAS, R, Python, or similar tools is preferred.
• Excellent communication abilities, capable of translating complex data into clear strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with a history of managing project teams and delivering results on time and within budget.
• Willingness to travel up to 25 % as needed to support client engagements.
