About the Role

As Assistant Director for Faculty Engagement and Operations, you'll bridge university leadership, faculty, and advancement priorities while managing day-to-day operations for a dynamic team. What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with faculty members across clinical, research, and educational programs
  • Organize and coordinate faculty engagement events, seminars, and collaborative meetings
  • Manage operational logistics for advancement initiatives, including scheduling, communications, and follow-up
  • Support the development and execution of strategic plans aligned with UW Medicine's five-state regional footprint
  • Create and maintain documentation, databases, and tracking systems to monitor faculty involvement and outcomes
  • Collaborate with advancement, clinical, and research teams to identify partnership opportunities and advancement priorities
  • Handle administrative responsibilities including correspondence, reporting, and program evaluation

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of experience in university advancement, faculty relations, operations, or related field
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage diverse faculty and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency with databases, Microsoft Office, and standard office software
  • Understanding of academic health systems and higher education environments preferred
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team culture
