About the Role
As Maintenance Supervisor at Hillpointe, you'll play a key role in maintaining the quality and safety of our properties throughout the Sun Belt. This position combines hands-on leadership with strategic facility management, ensuring that our residential communities meet our high standards and residents enjoy well-maintained living environments.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations across assigned properties
- Plan and prioritize maintenance projects, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules
- Manage and lead maintenance staff, including scheduling, training, and performance oversight
- Perform facility inspections and identify maintenance needs before they become costly problems
- Monitor maintenance budgets and control costs while maintaining service quality
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment, and repairs
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
- Respond to and resolve maintenance emergencies promptly
- Communicate effectively with property management and residents regarding maintenance matters
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or similar leadership role in property management or real estate
- Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a maintenance team
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
