ASIC MODEL ENGINEER (C++, SystemC)

Sandisk is seeking an experienced ASIC Model Engineer to join our Engineering team in Bengaluru, KA, IN. This remote position offers the opportunity to develop sophisticated hardware models using C++ and SystemC in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

About the Role

As an ASIC Model Engineer at Sandisk, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and validating ASIC models that support our product engineering initiatives. Your expertise in C++ and SystemC will be instrumental in creating accurate, efficient simulation models that accelerate product development cycles and ensure design quality. This is a full-time remote role based in Bengaluru, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a global team on complex semiconductor challenges.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement ASIC models using C++ and SystemC, ensuring accuracy and performance
• Develop simulation environments and test scenarios to validate hardware designs
• Collaborate with design, verification, and architecture teams to understand requirements and deliver effective models
• Optimise model performance and scalability for large-scale simulations
• Document technical specifications and provide support to cross-functional engineering teams
• Troubleshoot complex modelling challenges and implement solutions

What You Bring

• Strong proficiency in C++ programming with demonstrated experience in production systems
• Deep expertise in SystemC and hardware modelling methodologies
• Solid understanding of ASIC design principles and semiconductor fundamentals
• Experience with simulation tools and verification frameworks
