About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software organization with operations across multiple German cities. Our talent team is searching for an Application and Software Support Specialist to ensure seamless operation of enterprise software solutions for end clients. This role combines technical administration, customer communication, and quality assurance in a collaborative environment.

Location: Dortmund, Darmstadt, Dresden, Hamburg, or Karlsruhe

Employment Type: Full-time or part-time (minimum 32 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth application operations (on-premises and cloud environments) for client installations
• Provide support, administration, and configuration of enterprise software systems
• Perform software updates, system testing, and program quality assurance procedures
• Support first-level support teams with application-related technical questions
• Serve as communication bridge between clients and internal development teams for error resolution and new requirements
• Handle customization and data model adjustments within the software platform

What We're Looking For

• Degree in (Geo-)Informatics, completed vocational training, or comparable qualification
• Ideally, prior experience in application operations for software solutions
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming (such as C#) is desirable
• Enthusiasm for exploring new technologies and continuous professional development
• Experience in the energy sector is advantageous
• Strong independent work ethic, team collaboration skills, and excellent communication abilities
• German language proficiency required for client interaction
