Data Center IT Technician

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cloud infrastructure organization seeking an L2 Data Center IT Technician to support and maintain large-scale GPU clusters. In this role, you will be at the forefront of troubleshooting high-performance server hardware in a data center environment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Solving hardware-related issues with servers through in-depth advanced-level troubleshooting
• Reporting to hardware problem management and executing workarounds and solutions
• Proactively resolving L1/L2 tasks through the ticket system
• Updating new processes and documentation for the IT hardware team
• Collaborating with IT infrastructure engineers and L3 Technicians to improve SLA performance with complex diagnostics
• Improving support processes, documentation, and training materials
• Providing basic-level network tasks, troubleshooting, and support

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Knowledge of data centers and server equipment
• Advanced knowledge of IT hardware and practical troubleshooting experience
• Advanced skills working with Unix/Linux operating systems and command line
• Experience with equipment monitoring, data analysis, and presentation
• Proactive approach and strong sense of responsibility
• High proficiency in spoken and written English

Bonus qualifications:

• Advanced-level knowledge of network equipment and troubleshooting
• Driving license type B

This position is based in Béthune, Pas-de-Calais, France.
